How Does a CEREC Machine Work?
A CEREC® machine uses 3D imaging software to create an accurate impression of one or more of your teeth. One of our experienced dentists will x-ray and photograph your teeth and capture them with the machine to create a full 3D model of your mouth.

The Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) software will help highlight the areas that require restoration. The imagining is so precise that the resulting dental crown or veneer will fit your mouth exactly, with little to no adjustments necessary. We then implant the dental crown to replace missing or damaged teeth from your mouth.
CEREC vs Traditional Crowns
What's the difference between CEREC and traditional crowns? CEREC crowns utilize advanced digital scanning and milling to create custom crowns in a single visit. Traditional crowns involve two visits, first for mold impressions and then again for crown placement. By eliminating laboratory fabrication, CEREC produces precisely fitting same-day crowns, reducing headaches of temporaries and second appointments.
